Description: The Red Dot Sight (RDS) has become an increasingly popular and intuitive aiming option for handguns. This introductory class teaches the proper fundamentals you need to get the most out of this technology. Topics we’ll cover are, proper stance, grip, and presentation needed to consistently “find the dot”, training considerations, and RDS maintenance. This class will begin in a classroom then proceed onto the range to reenforce and practice these new skills. Required Items: A semi-automatic handgun with a properly mounted and zeroed RDS (installed by a gunsmith, preferably). 2 Magazines Eye and ear protection 100 rounds of reliable ammunition for their firearm. This class will begin in a classroom before going onto the range to reenforce and practice these new skills. Note: Students with unmounted or improperly mounted optics will be asked to obtain gunsmith assistance and reschedule.
